Advent Wreath Lighting readings during the season of Advent are a time to focus our hearts and minds on the true meaning of Jesus' birth.

This year, we're looking for several people to read each week, and readers will remain in their seats instead of coming to the front.

If interested, please click here and sign up for the date that you'll participate in this beautiful tradition.

Join The Wayfarer's Inn Ministries (TWIM) Saturday evenings for "Prophetic Prayer, Praise, & Power" from 4-6p.

Upcoming meeting dates are 11/26, 12/3, 12/17, and 12/31.

Contact Pastor Doanita if you have any questions.

We're gearing up for the Advent/Christmas season of giving and will once again Adopt-A-Family through the Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service. You're invited to participate in making their Christmas joyous by purchasing gift items (available on the trees inside the front door), as well as food, staples, and personal hygiene items. i.e. instant potatoes/stuffing, canned gravy, canned cranberries, dinner roll mix, coffee or tea, cake mix and frosting, candy, canned goods, flour, sugar, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, powdered milk, paper supplies, cleaning/laundry supplies, soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc.

If you'd like to purchase gifts, please:

-Take a gift tag "ornament" or two from a tree

-Purchase the item(s) shown

-Wrap the gift and place the gift tag "ornament" (taken from the tree) on the OUTSIDE of the gift

-Return to church no later than Sunday, December 4th

Gifts, food, staples, and personal hygiene supplies will be taken to St. Charles Community College on Saturday, December 10th at 9a. If you'll help with delivery, please let Rich P. know.

We will also collect throughout this season for some of our beloved missions & ministries, beginning the First Sunday of Advent, 11/27/2022. Watch your mailbox for details.

The approaching holiday season, for some, can bring with it a sense of sadness, loneliness and

emptiness. Holidays can result in a renewed sense of grief over loved ones lost as memories of traditions and time spent together begin to surface. The elders of Christ's Church, along with Pastor Milan, will again offer an event that provides a safe environment for individuals and families to remember loved ones they’ve lost, with others who are experiencing these same feelings. This event gives families the freedom to embrace those memories and to honor their loved ones.

We will gather at Christ’s Church on Thursday evening, December 8th, beginning at 6:00 pm, for dinner and a time to honor and remember your loved one.

Please let us know if you plan to attend, and how many will attend, at, or by contacting the office at

Our next Market is on Monday, December 12th.
Visit to see how much fun it is to help at food distributions, then contact Keith to volunteer.
